Coarse Match Information
Club Matches
The match angler in the club has a fairly active time. We run a series of matches which consist of 9 league matches, Silver Cup, John Mayell cup, Gudgeon Cup, and a pairs match. The league matches are held on a Sunday between both Tilcon & Stargate ponds which we Draw at 8am Fish 9am - 2pm.The league winner is decided on a lowest points basis which your best 5 matches count towards.
The points are awarded as follows:- Winner 1, Second 2 points etc a blank session equals no points. In the event of a tie of points, overall weight will decide the winner. Pools are £3.00. (£2.00 pools + £1 towards trophies).
There is also an optional £1 golden peg money - If you draw and win off the golden peg you win all the pools. If it is not won it is carried over to the next match and so on.
Please note there is no fishing allowed whilst matches are in progress unless your fishing the match.

Pairs match held at Aldin Grange - A fun match
Gudgeon cup held at either Tilcon or Whittle Dene - A fun match the most prestigious cup in the club only gudgeon count.
