Ryton & District Angling Club is proud to affiliate to the Tyne Anglers Alliance. The TAA brings together angling clubs from across the region to share support and advice and to give a unified voice for coarse angling in the North East.
Our affiliation to the TAA also allows our members to fish TAA waters. Below is a breif outline of the TAA waters members can fish. It should be remembered though that whilst fishing any TAA water anglers must carry their RADAC membership book.

Hexham AA is responsible for this 20 peg reservoir at Hexham following its development by the EA assisted by the TAA. Wydon opened in April and will develop into a very good fishery in time.
The depth is up to 8 feet and tench to 3.5lb have already been caught (May 2010)
There was a steady stocking in 2010 which has included, 500 4-8cms tench, 1750 4-8cm crucians, and 1000 6-8cm roach (boosted by 500 roach from Derwent Reservoir last year.) A further stocking of 2000 4-8cm rudd, 600 roach from 6oz to pound and a half were added in May 2010.
6 complementary day tickets are available on any day for TAA members.
For non-TAA members day tickets are available from GOJO and Top Tackle in Hexham :£5 senior, £2 junior.
Juniors fish free if they fish from the same peg as a senior.
Hexham AC is now a member of the TAA.
