TYNE ANGLERS ALLIANCE
Ryton & District Angling Club is proud to affiliate to the Tyne Anglers Alliance. The TAA brings together angling clubs from across the region to share support and advice and to give a unified voice for coarse angling in the North East.
Our affiliation to the TAA also allows our members to fish TAA waters. Below is a breif outline of the TAA waters members can fish. It should be remembered though that whilst fishing any TAA water anglers must carry their RADAC membership book.

These two lakes are regularly stocked and the large lake in particular is developing into a very good fishery. There is a very good natural recruitment in the large lake with the Roach in particular spawning very successfully.
The Environment Agency and North Tyneside Council have been most supportive in the development of these lakes.
The lakes contain carp, bream, roach, tench, perch, crucians, rudd and pike.
There is wheelchair access all along the southern bank of the larger lake.
Day tickets can be obtained from Killingworth Leisure Center.
